In between the past and future town
The days here are growing cooler, but at a snail's pace--like rush hour traffic or the end of class, it can never move fast enough for our liking. The Oklahoma wind, when it bothers to appear at all, is all billowing heat, threatening to smother the life out of perspiring students on their way to class. I fervently praise the inventor of the air conditioner, slick and innovative god of Summer Survival.. My generation has been spoiled rotten, that much is clear.
If only I could live on paper and ink and stubbly kisses and fanciful coffee creations which cost me an arm and a leg but are relentless in their appeal. I am well on my way there.
