Metamorphosis - Noun
- Biology - a profound change in form from one stage to thenext in the life history of an organism, as from thecaterpillar to the pupa and from the pupa to the adultbutterfly.
- A complete change of form, structure, or substance, astransformation by magic or witchcraft.
- Any complete change in appearance, character, circumstances, etc.
- A form resulting from any such change.
With this conceptual shoot, I wanted to show a metamorphosis from civilization to a primal stage of nature...a return to one's roots, to one's true home. The transformation I tried to portray was meant to inspire thought and reveal beauty in rebellion, restoration, and, ultimately, decay.

ReplyDeleteWhen do you get back for Christmas break? I have a feeling we're going to miss the last days of the Kane County Flea Market, but if you get back in time we can go and we can go see the hippie who lives in his VW van. ;D I bet you'd appreciate it.
Hope college life is treating you well!

P.S. I totally have the people I work with fooled! With as much as I "trip" they'll never be able to guess that I'm secretly elven folk! Lol!
Such lovely pictures you have, the tone definitely suite the woods-feel x
